...meaning...we simultaneously elected the first black president, showing how far we've come as a nation...then went back to square one by denying gays some basic human rights.

I read this on Thursday. She puts it very well. My aunt is gay and her ex lives in California now. I have already begun sending in my e-mails and signing up for my online petitions against this.

A comment on the article pointed to this comment by Keith Olbermann. Which also says it very well.
